Understanding the ever fickle nature of the Net as well as changes in consumer behavior are key components to keeping the program on the cutting edge and having web surfers come to your site - rather than a competitor's - and click the links that mean profit in your pocket. On the flipside, sometimes the trick to really earn money at home with a PPC program is to simply pass another one by. Remember that no matter how easy the money, some programs will simply not work on your website or against the backdrop of the other programs you are currently involved with. For example, if you are heavily marketing to faith based communities, a gambling affiliate PPC program is not going to work and may actually adversely affect all of your revenue streams.
To this end it is wise to periodically reevaluate all of your affiliate programs as you seek to earn income with pay per click programs and also other revenue streams concurrently.
